Anyone got an SMH5 setup?

According to the Sena blurb, its 7hrs talktime

& 7hrs stdby

I'm lucky if i get 3hrs out of it. 40 mins a day 5 days a week

My last non Sena unit used to get 8 hrs and some friendly

warnings before shuting down,

The sena gives one warnign if i'm lucky and then shuts off

Anyone get longer than 3hrs

Think it might be going back :(

Our set usually lasts around 8-10 hours each with the comms channel open more or less permanently, and that was with my knackered old unit that had loads of issues after it spent a night in a puddle. We don't pair to phones or sat nav though, just the comms. On standby only they last ages - days. You could just charge it every day, but that would mask the problem. Ii its under warranty still I would return it for a new battery - or see the link I posted in this forum a few days ago to a battery supplier in Hong Kong.

Mine last at least 8 hours too, all day basically. They are about 3 or 4 years old

Mine is paired to my Tomtom and wifey but no phone, no fm radio on mine either

I do charge them every night when touring, I use a multi usb charger for 2 intercoms, tablet, phones

I connect 20 mins each way to work, and listen to music both ways

got a full week last week, so i thought i'd see what i'd get this week.

got to work, and about 10 mins into the trip home and it was goodbye

I'll take it back to the place i bought it from and see what they say

My wife and I have them, I use my alot more than hers and the battery life eventually got pretty poor down to a couple of hours. I took the unit apart and got a replecement battery off the internet all good now.
