Does anyone know how to remove the plastic false barrel lock in the top box so I can fit in a proper lock?
False lock in Vario top box

I no longer have a various box but removed the lock barrel in the lid by unscrewing the four acres that hold on the cover on the inside of the lid. You can then easily get access to the lock and simply reverse procedure to re-fit

Nope, no idea. As an owner of a 3-piece suite of Vario boxes, with matching locks, I'm still intrigued why the locks are "false barrel locks"...
