led sidelight bulb

OK....i am probably being dumb....but why does the normal sidelight bulb work perfectly but led bulbs (I tried 3 different ones) dont?

is this some canbus related wierdness...

If it's an 850/1100/1150 it's not a canbus system. It's more likely a polarity issue. Try swapping the wire connections to the sidelight bulb holder around and try again. I have an Led side in my 1150 and it works fine

I am officially a dweeb/idiot/dunce/CUC/injorant (the last two are in maltese). it was simply a question of reversing the spade connectors duuh!!!!
