Hi


Has anyone fitted Hekkane front disc's on their gs at all?

They are on James Sherlock website and are £43.99 Each!!

Any thoughts??

Tbh. i can only assume that if JS are supplying them they will be ok. could be wrong i suppose.
At that money it's not that much of a risk and i'm pretty sure that if you have a problem with
them they will sort you out under the warranty.

If you have a post 2007 model you'll also need a full set of mounting bolts, spacers and washers for each disc.
I think you may also need spacers for the calipers.

I fitted a rear to my 2007 GS. Just a straight swop. No problems fitting it, and no problems since (its done about 4000 miles since). Fitted new pads at the same time.

Have always found Sherlock's good to deal with

The article on JS site says only up to 11/2007.
For later models its £126 but this includes the complete fitting kit.
When I did mine I used Bembo and bought from Wemoto.

All 1200 oil cooled models use the same rear disc.

Are they stainless or ferrous? If the latter they might not be so good for irregularly used bikes as the metal can rust and pit before the next use. No problem when used regularly.
