Would a complete exhaust system from an 08 fit a 2011 TC?

Evening chaps, quick question if you would help me out.
Would the headers/can transfer an 08 bike fit a 2011 TC bike? I have read somewhere that it would apart albeit doing away with the flappy thing, so really looking for confirmation.

The complete exhaust will fit either bike.

You cannot transpose the back and front parts of the systems between models but the mounting points are all the same so full systems will fit either way.
