No requirement in EU or UK for side reflectors, just USA as far as I understand it.

No, it's some stupid regulation in the US and is why all the bikes there have the very ugly older style indicators

That down to Euro 4 regulations

Yes indeed. Then Triumph (or any British manufacturer) can build to our own standards which don't meet those stupid regulations... and it will save them going to the bother of exporting anything.

You gotta love the Merkins... They faff over reflectors for safety but don't give a shit about the semi automatic cocked and ready in the pannier!!!
