Hi all, does anyone know of a UK booking line number for OBB railways ?.

Tried that but the lady didn't speak English

Not as it’s spoken in Hull, that’s for sure.

Have you tried their customer forum:

https://openinnovation.oebb.at/index.php?controller=signup

It’s very odd that whoever answered the phone in Austria didn’t speak English or at least connect you to an English speaker; the railway goes to great lengths to support its English section of the company website. Are you sure you dialed the right number?

Failing finding anyone local, contact the Austrian Tourist Office in that there London:

Cheers Wapping. They may speak English, but do they speak Yorkshire ?, tha knows,

The reason i haven't booked online is that i want to book 2 bikes and cabins at the same time

I would double check the number, then keep trying.
Bound to be someone speaks English
If not, just speak slowly and loudly.
Don't they know who won the War !!!

If you're booking the motorail from Dusseldorf to Vienna then you can book through the Deutsch Bahn UK contact number 020 8339 4750 and they speak English.

Don't believe you can talk to them on the phone but email contact to English folk available.

Have used them for simple train tickets and had to make changes after the tickets were bought and they were very helpful.

OBB Motorail booking

Hello
I also wish to book from Dusseldorf to Innsbruck late June 2018 but there ticket booking website will not show beyond 15th May 2018 or
every place is booked on each journey after that,OBB return email suggests being able to book 180days in advance?
Has any person used the Rail travel shop as they seem to have visibility of the fares?Any help or contact would be very welcome.:beerjug:

Give the Deutsch Bahn UK call centre a call, they speak English and are very helpful, last time I used the motorail from Dusseldorf to Vienna they sorted it out for me.

i went 2 years ago using the Rail Travel Shop which is a Dutch outfit and they spoke very good English and were in the main helpful when you got to speak to them. I booked the Dusseldorf to Verona train with them after they rescued it from closure. However I was looking to price up the route again to shorted (time wise) a longer trip to souther Italy and have found that it now seems that the Verona route no longer operates.:anger:

YAAAAAAAAAYYY. finally got sorted. After much angst by trying to ring Austria I finally managed to book online - hopefully. The problem was I had to put both names in twice on the booking page in different places. For those who are looking to book, I paid 516 Euros for 2 bikes, 2 people, 2 single cabins on a friday night train in may.
