How many leads can I connect to the battery?

I have my heated jacket lead connected, but want to also connect the power lead for my tank bag.

Would it be ok to connect 2 direct to the battery?

as many as is practical to get the connector tight - just ensure each individual positive lead has a fuse appropriate for that circuit.

And make sure you're not going to drain the battery with the combination you'll be having on at the same time......

And definitely make sure the connections are tight or you'll drain the battery (bitter experience)

If you're installing multiple devices/accessories then surely it'd be better to install a power distributor of some sort, no?

not for the 2 applications the OP wants, which are basically a pair of fly leads for detachable accessories - if you are wiring in permanent fixtures then, maybe, yes. Especially if you want switched circuits. Those panels need more space and the use of more tools as well as a degree of skill to identify a switched source to activate the relay(s)
