Standard exhaust manifold , my other G650X’s have Remus headers but you can’t get them anymore :-(

Lovely bike. Congratulations on your project.

I had a G650 as a loaner when I took my FJR for a service in Assen about 12 years ago. About as different to the FJR as you can get but I loved it and they’ve been on my mind ever since.

Colour Scheme

Made me giggle that it took so long for everyone to cotton on to the colour scheme Mr Nicholson. Hats off and I’m so envious of your ability to simply get on and sort everything out so effectively. Mind ‘envious’ should probably be swapped for ‘grateful’ that you’ve been such an incredible help with mine. I look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Anyone fancy a 92 100 GS PD by the bye?

Thanks Mark and yes you will have to stop by and have a look . If you come over on your XC I'll fit that brake line bracket thats been sat on my desk for the last 6 weeks !

If I had the room I'd buy the PD off you !

John

How do you rate the fit and finish of the Leo Vince as it looks good on the bike John.?

Ps - I’ll be up as soon as that pesky salt has gone :)

I'm really impressed with the Leo Vince X3 , both its fit and finish are as good as the BMW/Akrapovic I have on the XMoto - I recommend it highly . It also sounds good without being too loud ;-)

Got the seat back today - really pleased with it , I can highly recommend Les at Saddlecraft ( http://www.saddlecraft.co.uk )

I'll try and get some better pictures of the bike once it stops raining and I can pull it out of the garage !

I'll also write a few notes on the build and links to suppliers who have helped with parts/services

So this one is finished - what will be the next project.......

Cracking build, looks the dogs dangly bits, nice thread enjoyed watching it develop, what’s the plans for it, keeper or sale? (Purely being nosey)

Its a keeper (at least for now , as I often say that then something else comes up that I fancy and I end up selling)
