I’d heard of this on TV a while ago, but only tripped over it while trundling around the countryside today looking for a big breakfast.
On a bleak day it was quite hard to imagine sitting in the cockpit with a glass in hand looking out over the countryside on a sunny evening
Thornhill btw.
Was very interesting to get up close to the big beast as I’ve just finished reading a book called Special Forces Pilot by Richard Hutchings.
All about his adventures in the Falklands.
(Sorry my pics got turned round)
ps - filled my face in the Smiddy cafe by A84 near Blairdrummond (which impressed the good lady) after finding that the Woodhouse cafe on the A811 is closed for a while. Both good pit stops on a quiet day.
