Also turned up a top hat spacer for the r/h shock absorber,as I have moved the shock outwards to provide space for the exhaust
I have replaced the stud with a high tensile steel stud,and used 25mm stainless bar to provide extra support

when you replace alloy fastenings which go into alloy parts with stainless isn't there a slight danger because of a reaction that can be created by mixing stainless and alloy

do you also use the same torque settings, (as recommended by BMW)?
 
New stainless wheel spindle,nut and washer,
Silly money but:blast
And,yes I know the brake rod it too short,I ran out off 6mm stainless bar and only had this off cut :comfort

When I win the Euro millions next week, you are going to be very busy.

Note to self: Buy my first Euro lotto ticket.
 
Apart from hooking up the indicators and lights the wiring is done.
Engine is oil tight and full of oil,
Engine has good oil pressure,and runs on a slave fuel tank,as I’m waiting for a fuel tap arriving from Germany.
Exhaust sounds lovely,
Has quite a deep fruity note but not too loud.:D
So just waiting for the forks coming back from being rechromed,
And the wheels to be rebuilt.
This should all happen next week:cool:
