am planning a trip to morocco on 4th may till 23rd -no planned route but open to suggestions -theres just 2 mates on 2 gs 1200 with a bit ofroad exp but not looking to go off piste as such -will it be to hot in mid may ?those dates include travel from uk so about 8 or 9 days in morocco -its just the weather [ heat] that concerns me at the mo -id like to go a bit earlier but cant manage it till then -went to spain in 40 degree and was to hot riding -any one been in may ??

has anyone got any plans around these dates

Yes, 40ºC is too hot. When taken in conjunction with the hot sun, I prefer 32ºC in the shade as a maximum.

This year was unseasonably hot in June, but mid May should be fine. Unless there's a heatwave. :)
