Just noticed the black plastic cap has come off the top of my right hand fork as per pic - just wondering how important this is? - I am currently in Egypt travelling to Cape Town and if I don't really need to replace it then all is good:
The link to Google photos you posted does not work, but clicking open in new tab does. However, the missing cap is no big deal, just stick some gaffer tape over it and forget until you get home.
