Assuming that my Z1300 now qualifies for 'Classic' status are there any recommendations from the massive as to a decent classic bike broker/insurer

Done the Go Compare thing now looking for options for someone more specialist :aidan

How old does a bike have to be for Classic status as far as insurance and road riding cover is concerned?

Footman James? Not used them, but they are in that classic market.

Carole Nash 20 to 30 yr old classic. More than 30 vintage, whatever that means. When I added my really old moped 1956 my group ( 3 bikes at that time) dropped by £160!

I've got eight or nine of my classic rated bikes with Footman James.

Highly recommended.

Very efficient,friendly and helpful.

Further discounts with them can be made if you are a member of an Owner Club or the VJMC.

Footman James do ‘agreed value’ policies too.
I’ve used them in the past and found them very good.

My RC30 was with Footman James, with the added discount from joining the VMCC

BeMoto

BeMoto treated me ok for a classic and two BMW policy. It was refreshing to speak with people that actually sounded like they were familiar with motorcycles.
