Socket ID & source needed

Greetings to The Collective.

I'm upgrading the horn and was wondering if I can get a socket like in the pic. I want to attach the wires from the horn/relay to it then plug it into the opposite socket under the beak.

The canbus will trip on overload with most powerful horns. You will probably need a relay.

I got the Fiamm Master Blaster it comes with a small black thing, I think that's the relay.

Nippy Normans do NOT have the right one! Just been through this whole thing with them where said they had it and in fact it was the opposite.

The only place I could find to source this was through a dealer. Very few have them 'on the shelf' so get your local dealer to tell you who's got one. I sourced mine from Lind Motorrad in Norwich (by post) last November and at the time they had two. can't remember the price. £15 - £20?

I might be able to find a part number tonight if you get stuck.

Is it actually an industry standard part? I ask because the three pin headlamp connector is not exclusive to BMW.

Just plugged it all in and it does work for me.

Just looked at it and that won't fit onto the male plug I have showing under the beak.
