Help needed: GSer in Togo with failed servo on 1150

Check your micro switches - I bet one is stuck on. You can remove all of this:

Keep this bit plugged in so your lights work. You’ll need to remove one of the warning light bulbs on the dash.

So just a couple of follow up questions:

1. How do I get the brake light to function (it’s always on at present)

2. Is there any of the limit of abs/servo unit I can now remove to reduce weight?

Thanks guys!

Thought you said the garage had performed a servo removal ? Sounds like they just linked up the brake lines and bypassed the unit.

Sorry for radio silence but WiFi seems to be like hen's teeth in Nigeria. Just arriving Calabar on the Cameroon border.

Neil you are as ever right...It was just the bypass...But it's been great because with the endless road checkpoints and mad Nigerian drivers, the brakes have had a lot of use!
