thought itd be good to do some nz ones

this one was 200ft from the holiday park

was planning on going to east cape but the weather was very warm and according to map quite a walk to the cape when you get close so decided to go to gisborne through the gorge

gisborne famous for having a railway go across the runway - spoke to tourist info who rang gisborne - to see if you could see the train from the terminal - sadly not but decided to go anyway

got to gisborne half tank left

not going mad - got about 20k north from the lookout where the monument was to william doodah on the way up - flash flash reserve - oh shit - had already passed matawai so no juice

25 mph from the monument back into opo - got to where id fuelled on the way out 'how far is the monument from here'

25k - FFS

found out later the tank is 2 gallons

With a waka - partly why I went looking

Nope fella said nearest one was at whatakane ( pronounced fatakaanay)

But found out at I site rotarua had one near the lake so that and souvenirs happened
