Hi folks.

I have just bought a thermarest corus hd quilt and ordered an Exped synmat 9 lw, does anyone know if the thermarest universal sheet will work with the SynMat? They come in small, medium and large: I was thinking large might be a good match?

Cheers

Once you have used a quilt you'll not go back to a sleeping bag, I have the same quilt :thumb2

Nice one, I have ordered correctly for the first time ever! I have to say I received the quilt yesterday and it looks a little bit lacking: I held it up to the light and you can see straight through it and there doesn't look to be much down in the thing.. I also recently bought a fairly high end down sleeping bag and tested it inside and it really puffed up, even though it only weighs about 700g.

I know what you mean; we always buy a large one when we get to the IOM; then leave it with Phil at the campsite, he passes them on to the local scouts troop and others; they never get just binned; well; well; worth it.:beerjug:

Norfolk Tiger is an East Anglian inbreed, and as such, he is particularly hairy and doesn't suffer the cold like most folk ... :thumb2

If I could find them for £12 ; I would have bought the lot; I'm a cheap arse fucker; and no matter how good thermarest is, i personally could'nt bring myself to pay that much. We have thermarest mats that we have had for about 16 yrs or more; and they are still as comfortable as the day we bought them; they are used for 6 trips a year; and i would'nt be without them; regardles of cost's ; i would say a quilt is the way to go.:beerjug:

Yeah, very expensive, got mine off ebay, practically new for £130 😉

Been thinking of making one from a 40 quid Aldi down bag. If it had a full length zip. Anyone bought one?

Tom
