Thermarest universal sheet with exped mat?

Royal mail lost the parcel and I'm still trying to get it back! I refunded the buyer..

So you sold the Thermarest Corus?

Yeah, only because I ended up buy a synmat mega 12 lxw, and it's too big for the quilt. I sold the quilt on this forum but it basically got lost in the post so I'm still trying to get it back, 2 months later. 😖

Just got back from Lakes at the weekend, boiling thru the day and baltic at night.
I've had a exped 7DX thing for ten years and a fairly decent down bag.
Getting numb hands all cramped up would love a down mat and quilt.
Is that right I just need: -

Dont need a top sheet or anything for the mat?

I use a thermarest quilt with a neoair pad and also have the sheet which goes over the pad and the quilt can be attached to the sheet. Been using it a couple of years now and it is plenty warm enough and kept me snug up at Dent last weekend.

Buy one of these and stick it under your mat - you'll be amazed at how much warmer it is.....and get a cheap, ex army Gore-Tex bivvy bag as well. This will add even more heat retaining properties.

Both items pack small (you can use the bivvy bag as a dry bag as well) and are much less of an outlay than new gear, which may or may not be any better than what you currently have.

Well my thermarest corus hd quilt and sheet is lost forever via royal mail signed for! All I have in return is a £50 cheque off them because I stupidly didn't increase the insurance value of the package, assuming it'd not get lost in the post!

Or you could go to B&Q and get a roll of the insulated sheets you use for behind radiators sort of like foil with bubble wrap inside of it ..

I always whine about sliding off the pad and was recommended Exped SynMat 9 Sleeping Pad by a number of people. I hope it works well for you. I'm planning to get one too.
