Hi folks,I've recently bought a Badlands jacket and find that getting gloves to fit under sleeve an utter pain in the face,I bought a pair of halvarsons gloves,(expensive and crap, dont waste yer money) that are shorter in the wrist to help but still difficult to fit under sleeve.Am I missing something? Hell of an oversite if not on such an expensive jacket:eek:

The Klim Inversion short gloves fit perfect, you need to ensure that the velcro is undone on the jacket though.

I’ve got a pair of Alpinestar Celer GTX short gloves (https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/236912) which work with that jacket, are dexterous, waterproof and hard wearing. They’re more a 3 season glove unless youve got seriously hot hands but I have heated grips and bar muffs so it’s not a problem!

BTW they can defo be found cheaper than this link ;)

Klim intend you to put the gloves over the cuff, not the other way around. I have the Klim Element Long gloves and they fit well over the cuffs. It makes more sense to me that way because the wind isn't driving into the gap.

Ah but the water runs down the sleeve and into the glove. I tend to wear short cuff gloves with my Badlands, Alpinestars when it's cool or BMW GS gloves in warmer climes. If needed I can get long cuff gloves inside the sleeve just takes a little more time to undue the Velcro and pull the sleeve over the cuff of the glove. Tighten the Velcro and I've never had a problem with draft up the sleeve.

Put your gloves on before you put on your jacket :aidan

I don't have a problem at all with my jacket; short gloves pretty much all year round making use of heated grips and muffs if the weather dictates. Alpine SMX Air's are my fave as they double up as a good off road glove.

On the odd occasion that I wear heavy, cuffed gloves, I just tuck the jacket into them and can honestly say that I have never had water run into the gloves.

I genuinely don't see what the problem is :nenau

I have the Badlands Pro, (older, don't know if it's significantly different) but both my Rukka Apollo and Revit Dominator gloves (both short) fit under the sleeve no problem.

Does the newer ones still have the inner cuff with the thumb hole?

We are all different shapes (don't ya know)

I have very big wrists and forearms..........someone else may not. That will heavily influence whether or not you can easily get your gloves on and off.

Just sayin'

Can you imagine the trouble poor Popeye has getting his gloves under his Klim gear!

Tip of the year, some things are so simple yet we do not think :beerjug:

A true Tosser... Obviously!

I have a Klim Blade jacket and my long cuff Rev'it Summit 2 gloves go under the cuff just fine. Totally waterproof, work great with heated grips such that they cover almost all my riding. When it gets very hot I have some ageing Hein Gerike kangaroo leather sports gloves which go over the cuff, as do my Alpinestars Jet Road winter gloves I never seem to need since I got the Rev'it. So, unless the badlands jacket is a bit of a freak show, I think your issue might be you're choosing the wrong gloves.

Same here but also being mindful that the rain might run in I’ve alsontried to fit them insie with limited success.
That said, I’ve not really noticed any issue with rain running in but I do carry a short pair just in case.

Alpine Stars Drystars work great and most of Klims gloves are short designed to go under, also Rukka putting normal Gloves underneath is a ball ache

I don't think you two have thought this one through..........unless you remove your jacket every time you take your gloves off :blast:blast:blast
