I bought a new Hyperpro spring to replace the standard one.
I rented the spring compression tool.
I removed the shock from the bike.
I compressed the spring.

It won’t come off.......help.

Did you loosen the grub screw (if it's ESA)? Did you compress the spring and pre-load adjuster far enough to reach the split ring? the split ring needs to be removed from the groove and then you slacken the compressor and the spring slides off...... Honest!

It’s not ESA. So no grub screw I guess.
I’ll have another go following your instructions.

Many thanks.
