Side stand

I’ve got a 09 1200gs and it’s factory lowered. Can anyone tell me if the foot of the side stand is a different shape as well? I know the side stand gets shortened but wondered if the foot is a different shape because I ordered a side stand enlarger and it’s a different shape.

When I bought my factory lowered 1200GS (2012) the side stand foot was for a factory lowered bike (see Nippy Normans site).

I bought one of the excellent UKGSer side stand pucks. The stand foot needed a trim with an angle grinder. I just lashed loads of copper grease around it. Last time I looked, there was no signs of rust on the “bare” metal.

You mean apart from the bits that were powder coated or hot zinc metal sprayed.
