Quick question please

On the GS Adventure do you have to remove the lower crash bars to remove the rocker covers?

Not got it yet, but it is a 2018 Adventure Rallye

Just wondering whether to fit my BMW rocker covers from my 2017GS. If I did that I think the Adventure bars would have to come off if the service required the removal of the rockers

I would put the rocker covers on if they fit, it is no hardship, I put my X-heads on with Wunderlich engine bars, just had to space out the lower bars with 2 washers, and job done.
 
Why would it matter? It's not something that happens weekly... or even annually. Small inconvenience trade off, I'd suggest.
