Wolds run from East Kirkby air museum on Saturday 5th May

Main food hall is a restored NAAFI with other food vans on site.

There will be a big turnout of bikes both old and new (most will be classics) and proceeds go to support the air ambulance. Only £8 pay on gate or prebook:

Bike run (optional) stops at pub half way for bacon cobs or burgers.

Lancaster bomber will be doing a taxi run.

Also, a very entertaining large model aircraft ‘air show’ is taking place on the same day. Some displays are amazing. :bow

If you miss the Vulcan flying in our skies they usually fly a model of one here.

Another bonus is this is local for Att but he will be out of the country (only joking pal). :thumby:

I hope to see some of you there.

Gerry

We used to go on this run every year and it’s great. Haven’t been for ages so will try to make this year :thumby:

Have put it in the diary, Used to go a few years back. A good excuse to drag the old airhead out.

Reminder this is a good run out worth supporting on Saturday :rob

I seem to remember paying on the gate in the past but have not been for a few years.
There is a download pre- entry form, any idea if it is still ok to pay at the gate on arrival.

A restored NAAFI?

Why would anyone want to restore a NAAFI? :yelrotflm

More importantly

How much does it cost to Restore a NAAfI ?

All the NAAFIs i ever went in looked like they only cost a tenner to build in the first place

And just in case anyone needs to know what NAAFI stands for

NO AMBITION AND FUCKALL INTEREST

Yes I always pay on the gate.

The airfield has been maintained as museum in remembrance of their lost brother in WW2.

This is why they are getting the Lancaster to become airworthy.

The NAAFI is a decent cafe.

Thanx for the 'Heads up'.
Went along and had a good morning. I shall be going back another time to try a NAAFI breakfast.

Indeed, a pleasurable day catching up with folk, a most wonderful solar filled day.
I shall give your regards to father, when I see him Wednesday:D:D

Please do. And if the nipper should turn up please send him my best.
