North East

We are North Eastern Russian double agent ninjas who are keeping our roads secret so southern softies dont find out how fantastic our roads and scenery are. shhhhh.

Nothing going on around here , anyone from outside the region reading this thread needs to be aware that other than the A1 there are no roads or civilisation in the North East , nothing to see other than industrial desolation and a post apocolyptic wasteland.

The area is believed by the Home Office to be dangerous and inhabited by wild natives plus bears, wolves and is often marked on the maps in Whitehall with the legend of 'Here Be Monsters'.

Just stick to the A1 (especially if you are dragging a shed or driving a wobblebox) and admire the mile or so on each side of the main arterial route which has been landscaped to look pleasant and continue your journeys to the North and South.

P.S. any photographs appearing on Tourist based website are ALL without exception the results of extensive use of Photoshop and overactive imaginations

So its much like Cuba then with painted frontages on the abandoned houses.....

Is the North East dead or dormant?

You've put your head above the parapet by asking the question so over to you. Organise something and see how many join in. That should answer your question
