Great hotel in the Scottish Borders (stop over or base)

    Hi all,

If you are planning a trip to the Scottish borders for a weekend or longer, great hotel below.

Terry is a keen biker himself, parking for the bikes too

Dumfries and the surrounding areas are really nice, and the coast is spectacular in places. But I would hardly classify it as "Borders". I assumed the hotel recommendation would offer something in Peebles/Moffat/Melrose..... which would act as a base for hooning around the roads there

If you are looking for a spot in Moffat, check out the Buccleuch Arms Hotel. Very biker friendly and also have lockups for the bikes around the back.
