hi all just had new tyres fitted at a recomended dealer pr4s -my brother took bike up as i was working -he dropped it of and it looked different -a quick look and they fitted tyres that are the same size for the lc -it sits ok but tyres wrap around a lot more -are the lc rims different to my tc model ?? or are the tc rims smaller??

Get them changed , too wide for the rims
TC rears are 150x17 LC are 170x17 iirc Front are TC 110/19 LC are 120/19 so not really the thing to fit. They need swapping for the correct size.

It could help others who live in the area ! Such incompetence should not be hidden !

took them back and swapped for pilot road 5-didnt get an apoligy or anything for messing me around -took me half a day to sort -wont use this dealer again -

I once used 160-60-17 on a bike that normally used 150-70-17. It worked well but made quite a difference to speedo accuracy. About 5% IIRC. But that was deliberate because the tyre type I wanted wasn’t available (then) in 150.
