What we don't get is that it does it mostly when first set off then seems to calm down.with the rain we didn't try it today .

Thanks. Neither of those resolve the problem although do offer a work-around in some circumstances. Currently I’m just turning off the intercom when not using it.

Is it possible that the jog dial is getting pressed inadvertently by her collar or clothing when she moves her head?

ISTRC on a recent trip being irritated by the apparently random beeps, from my sena 20s, turned out they were being made by another sena 20s, but being heard by me...involved GPSr on t'other bike announcing turns/waypoints or whatever...
