Have you checked under the seat that all the bungs are in place, ahve you had anything apart?
Thanks for the replies but checked the mentioned ideas and none of those.
I've had nothing apart just washed it the other day and when i took the bike off of the centre stand it fell to the floor.

Is it the final drive breather? Can you peel up the “outer skin” as it were?
On the exhaust side of the bike at around the 2 o’clock position on the final drive you may well find a mystery hole..........

It's the final drive breather. You will need to take the rear wheel off

butt plug was a close second but it was the final drive breather. now back in place and thanks for everyones help
