    High mileage Serow

    Hi all,

Anyone have any info on how reliable a serow might be at higher mileage?
By high mileage, I mean 25k plus.

Did an off-road trail day recently, and would like to get something cheap, not too tall or powerful, and an old serow looks like it might fit the bill.
However, most of the cheaper ones are getting on for 30 years old.

Is it worth just finding something a bit more modern?

    Cheers

Starter motors are a weak point especially with high miles

    Thanks for that.

Picked up a high-ish mileage Serow at the weekend, and the starter motor all seems to be working properly.
Looks a bit shinier than the rest of the engine so I guess it's been replaced.

    Cheers, Matt
