Nav 5 Problem

I’d suggest it’s:
1. A silly glitch that will sort itself out if you start again
2. A glitch with Garmin’s server. It happens
3. Your own connection speed or with the leads / connections between your computer and the device

Would it not have been easier to copy the contents of the old SD card onto your computer. Then, cop from there onto the new SD card (making sure that you name the new card the same as the old one), then insert the new card into your Nav 5. That is what I have done in the past
Never thought of that option - must remember that.
