Autocom Bluetooth Dongle not pairing.

Can anyone give me any advice as to how to pair my Iphone SE with the Autocom BT dongle? It's visible and I'm inputting the code given to me by the previous owner but it's not paring. Do I need to put the dongle in paring mode, if so how?

The thread I've found inhere is dated and the image removed so I'm none the wiser.
