I've have a 1998 850r and the rocker covers are flaking. Instead of repainting a friend has offered me some single spark magnesium ones. I'm sure these will fit but can anybody confirm this?

Just try it and see.
I would but he lives 250 miles away so didn't want to waste postage back and forth if they don't fit.
Cross-reference the part number on a parts fiche e.g. realoem.com. It should give you some reassurance.
I put some on my old r1100rsse years ago.
