I've got Monday / Tuesday off work and weather looks dry across Wales, so going to go for a ride around. I'll be on the Africa Twin, which has some knobbly's and was looking for some easy but scenic trails. Been googling buy can only seem to find guided rides and not maps. 'Trail Riding in Mid Wales' have some great images on their website so I guess something in that region would be good? west of Aberystwyth

Will likely go up the Elan Valley tomorrow to take in the reservoir views then looking to do some off road Monday. Tuesday, will have a ride around snowdonia and back down to surrey.

Any advice appreciated!

Take the trail around the Claerwen Dam - it's a straightforward 10km trail.

However, when you get to the gate at the top of the reservoir, it becomes a private trail. At the moment, the farmer is not in a good place due to him witnessing an RTC in which an 11-year-old boy died just a few days ago. If you chose to continue on the trail, it's not quite as easy as beside the reservoir.

Thanks for the suggestion! Great day today.

I'm assuming it wasn't the 'ride the wild adventures' then, in which case it could have been anywhere? :blast
