    Suggestions of hotel

I’m planning ish a route to Biarritz via La Rochelle.

I’m taking the ferry to Zeebrugge so I want somewhere to stay somewhere halfway between. Zeebrugge and La Rochelle

I put Rouen in as a point ( B ) to avoid Paris .... but really flexible

    Hope that’s clear

Have a look at Caudebec en Caux - lovely little town on the Seine between Rouen & Le Havre near one of the big suspension bridges. Normotel la Marine has a courtyard at the rear that is locked at night for the bikes. Balconies overlook the river, great restaurant. Small square with a few bars. A few other accommodation choices.
This space deliberately left blank as the author writes too much pretentious bollocks as it is.

Caen is very nice we stay at the Caen Ibis centre right on the marina there are lots of Bars nearby and great restaurants in the old town area very close by on Rue du Vaugueux ( look on google maps street view) well here https://www.google.je/maps/@49.18527...2!8i6656?hl=en

    Huge market on a Sunday

You could then head down to La Rochelle via Rennes & Nantes on the Mway (No peage in Brittany starts again just south of Nantes)
