The mistake i made with my first one was trying to clean it with a dry rag i put so many tiny scratches in it, it took the clarity out of it almost misty. I eventually got another and only clean with a wet sponge.

Open the air vents and stop panting, do a bit of sport..........
Vents are so open they are annoying noisy and nope just sh*t steam on both visor and glasses even wearing googles at work mist up.
I've just fitted a new visor and new pinlock to my GT Air. It took a couple of goes to get the pinlock to seal properly, but now it's gin clear. I don't wear glasses for riding. Have you tried contact lenses?
As a new Neotech 2 user, the pinlock system has no ghosting or lack of clarity etc that the OP describes. I also wear specs, so with those, sun visor, pinlock and main visor that's 4 layers of potential optical corruption, but it's as clear as day.
Never ridden at night yet, I rarely do, but I hear that can show up ghosting and double vision type effects.

I have the BMW system 6 and an Shoei Neotec the later is worse for steaming up especially if I have a neck band over my chin

Topend helmets Andi, is it happening more in the winter, or even at altitude, or all the time.
