North Coast 500 and Skye over 8 days

I recently posted my ride report for our trip around the North Coast 500 with a extended run around Skye and Oban. The routes used were available to download which included a number of alternatives that we would select en-route depending on weather and how we were feeling.

I have now had the opportunity to download my track logs and I have uploaded them to MyRoute-app so that they can be downloaded and used should you want to follow our footsteps. I'd be glad to answer any questions based on the knowledge gained on our trip.

    Northwest England to Inverness

    Inverness to Bettyhill

    Bettyhill to Ullapool

    Ullapool to Poolewe via Gairloch

Poolewe to Applecross via Loch Ness

Applecross to Kylekin with a loop of Skye

Kyleakin to Oban (via an aborted run to Armadale)

Benderloch nr Oban to Northwest England

Fantastic picture and one of my favourite views.

I was up there in early May and scattered some of my late Mums ashes at that very spot...……...a special place indeed.

Hope you had a great trip. The Scottish Highlands is great biking country and your routes are bang on.

Thanks for posting the picture, it made my day.

    Good riding there.
One thing about the NC 500 though is, it keeps the hoardes away from my fave places
