2004 Husky TE450:

Not sure when the rear tail light / brake light stopped working, but the bike now needs an MOT. The lights only come on with the engine running.

Does anyone know a way to power up the lights without the engine running so I can fault find without standing over a bloody hot engine?

That's how they work as far as I'm aware

My KTM's have all been the same

The lights only come on when the engine is running

Thanks Paul, much appreciated. Going to dive into it tomorrow, will just have to get it all ready so I can quickly test it at each junction with the engine running. Hopefully its a wiring issue rather than a component issue.
