I would always carry a spare alternator belt and a very small amount of tools required to change it. I have snapped a belt in Valencia and fortunately had enough with me to get myself a beer at the bar and change it. Other than that I gave the bike a change of oils, checked there was enough meat on the brake pads and went. Forgot my undies though
