New TFT display upgrade?

I read somewhere that the latest RTs come with a display that connects to your smartphone and shows basic navigation info directly from the smartphone. I also read somewhere that 2017 RTs could have their display upgraded to this.
But I’m blowed if I can find this info now.
Can anybody shed any light on this?

Don't think they do. The GS now has a TFT display, but not the RT. Although there are rumours the new RT will have TFT once released.
