My mum once told me

I had a UJ fail on my Spada but it still got me home (slowly). From memory the Guzzi UJ looks a lot stronger than the bmw jobbies. The bearing has seen better days but how long has it been like that? It held together which is good.

To be fair the shaft on my R100GS started to grumble on the road from Cape Town to Johanesburg but only finally gave up in Rouen.

Cracking work Gromett.... :thumb

I’m going to want this - I know.... but I’m twat and too big for it..

The wheels are back in,
New petrol tank has been commissioned.
Can’t really do much without the tank.
I best start saving some pennies;)

Lovely tank.

Does highlight those angular rocker covers. I’ve no idea what’s involved but the older style rounded can be fitted and do look better. I know it’s not money no object... sorry.

The tank is so shiney it makes it difficult to see the shape on the pics.
To fit the valve covers you can buy spacer plates.
My main concern is the seat to peg distance with rear sets fitted, the bike really is tiny.:D
I can see twizz on it,fucking hilarious :blast

I have a Le Mans 2 which I’ve had from new (1979). My knees have always banged on the rocker covers which can be ver uncomfortable on bumpy roads. But yeh, Guzzi are designed for short arse Italians.

Lovely Mikey, I went for the classic filler, but that looks very cool.

You are right, make sure the top of seat is reasonably high as the riders legs will be quite bent.

Love the kick up on the rear frame rails.
