Tyre compatibility

Looking to get a new front tyre on my 1200 tc gsa have Michelin pilot road 4 trials on at the moment and was looking at the road 5 trial for the front as the rear still has loads of life on it ,are they compatible

Can't see why not tbh - very similar tread pattern.

If the tyres have the same fundamental construction there will be no problems. My front tyres usually run for two rears. They don't always have the same manufacturer or even the same tread type. I can only ride to the ability of of the least good tyre but no problems.

I do prefer them in pairs because they look better and putting a super grippy sports tyre on one end with a stodgy semi trail on the other is a waste of a good sports tyre.
