Anybody fitted a 1200 RT TC final drive to their GSA 1200 TC? The ratio is way taller.

Its up in the top end of the revs, thats all bhp there, not torque.80 mph is about 5k, hardly torque territory, but without looking at the torque curve ? Ill see if i can find one.

Ill have to speak to hilltop and see if they can engineer the torque curve to suit.My old 1150 would do 4k in 6th at 80mph. thats my goal. Its so much more relaxed.I wonder if the throttle body inlets are different too on the rt to engineer more torque? The other option was an fd from a R12ooR which is in between the rt and the gsa

Running the engine slower does not automatically make it more relaxed. It's even worse if the speed to need to do most of the time falls into the 4500rpm vibration spot.

How often have you whizzed along for miles in 5th gear marvelling at how smooth the engine feels. Only to change up (feeling like a muppet) only to find it now feels rough and sluggish.
