Just had the 12000 service done, well 11731. 2 bigger tours and 2 smaller ones all 2 up luggaged etc, through mountain passes etc etc.

Still no brake pads changed...read a few posts on here suggesting rear pads don’t last? I can only assume I don’t ride as hard as others?

How much did it cost you?

Just had my 12k service @ Ocean in Plymouth. £314

My first 1200 LC needed new rear pads at the first service and was done under warranty.
Current rear pads have done 12500 miles and look like new.

Rear pads just fired on my third set mileage since January 7k
they were part worn brembos when I got bike second hand when I got bike.
I threw some ebc on-just before 4K trip eewww grindy horrible pads
Back on Brembos see how long these last

£290.96 at Wollaston motorrad

I just did mine myself coz Riders fucked about with the booking of it and it cost me £130,

40 of which was for the oil,
30 of which was for air filter the robbing bastards, there must be a small engined car with the same size filter for about a fiver:nenau,
40 for the obd lead to plug in the GS911 to an LC.
Oil filter bout 12 quid, but had to buy a minimum of 10 sump plug washers about 3 quid.
oil for rear drive I had already.

Took about 2 hours with a nap included whilst oil drained down.:thumby:
