Knocking engine sound.

Bike has been off the road due to servoectomy. Back on today
Topped up oil from min to Max and it's now much quieter. Also , I noticed when the petrol tank was off, the air filter was not seated correctly. May it's induction noice. Seems to have got a bit better anyway.

Exhaust leaks cause a spitting noise. Certainly nothing you could describe as a clatter or knock.

When one of my engine crash bars came loose it sounded like a big end was about to make a bid for freedom. I dragged the bike back inside the garage and after putting it on the centre stand noticed the loose bar. Phew!!!
