Having ridden my recently acquired 650 GS Twin, I am really impressed with it, apart from a couple of things:

The front end dive under braking seems excessive. Admittedly I have been riding a R1100S with telelever front end for 18 years, but anything other than very light application of the front brake results in my being almost bounced off the bike. It’s like a pogo stick. Having read through the forums, I am looking at fitting Hyperpro fork springs to see if that improves it. The other issue is the lightness of the throttle. Every bump in the road seems to affect the throttle setting which makes it hard to ride smoothly. I have a Throttlemeister on the boxer, but I can’t find a friction/cruise control type device to fit the Twin with the OEM handguards.

Any ideas welcome.

Roger, HyperPro progressive springs and heavier fork oil sorts out the front end dive very nicely
Do a search for HyperPro and there’s a good few posts on the topic

As per Ash I did both to mine, plus fitted the 15T front sprocket.
Incremental improvements all add up.
