Overland and classic Social day 8th September

Really good event, this

Especial thanks to Duncan, for the Chilli, which was superb!

And Mike, I’ve never seen the workshop so clean & tidy

We have truly talented, and good hearted people in the East Mids section...

Keep on keeping on...

Thanks for a top time everyone.

Good breakfast, top lunch and great company.

Don’t for get the tour of Britain cycle race is starting at West bridgford before heading to cotgrave and cropwell Bishop. There are road closures. As if we don’t have enough fecking cyclists coming into the area

https://www.nottinghampost.com/what...britain-nottinghamshire-road-closures-1814697

This caught me out at the traffic lights near Hooters.

Being on the bike I was able to detour easily.

Unfortunately the van stuck in front of me was a ‘tour of Britain’ support vehicle on its way to the start :blast

Only stayed a short time but good to see Mikeyboy’s Craftsmanship and where to get quality work done on the bike :thumby:

Good to meet a few of you earlier and see some gorgeous bikes. Great inspiration. Hope to get my GS over for some tender ministrations soon.

Cheers, Jon

Yes really pleasant afternoon which more than made up for missing the breakfast!
Thanks to Duncan for the excellent 3 B and Mike for cakes and hosting.
Good to see so many old faces . . . err I’ll rephrase that:D

Good to meet everyone and have a gossip, but sadly no Bean Chilli left , when I arrived.
Maybe that’s how it got it’s name- “if I’d bean there earlier”.....never mind.
Liked the metallic blue cruiser bike, but no room and no money, so that’s out.
Thanks Mike and Charlie and Duncan-
Kippa enjoyed himself too-
Regards to all
Roger
