How Much ???

There is a French guy who monitors our local bikes for sale site and often pops over and buys our bikes to take back to France.
He came over and bought my GS TC from me. He buys up quite a few bikes here so there must be money in it for him after he has exported them back to France.

Come to Cyprus.
Whatever the price, add about €3600. Any bike over 1000cc had a "duty" of around €3 per cc.

Up to 600cc, no duty
600 to 1000cc, about €1.3 per cc
1000cc+, about €3 per cc.

The duty price is for the whole cc, ie €3 for the whole 1200cc.
 
In Gib there is no VAT, but a 30% import duty on all new bikes imported.

To lessen the pain, you can make an arrangement with a scooter importer for example, as they only pay 15% import duty as they have an import license.
