Top Dead Centre Tool - 2017 R1200GS Adventure

Elon Musk will be living on Mars growing potatoes before 83300444292 turns up !!

(Fuck, I know that number and can type it from memory now.....)
I’ve just been told that 292 will be in stock in Germany 20th February. T’other one 7 to 10 days

DIY Tool for the 292 Cam Chain Tension Tool for Cam Timing 83300444292

I'm about to finish up on another YouTube video with a replacement tool and still another separate technique to get the normally tight/pulled side of the cam chain in the proper position/tension to use the Cam Alignment Jig 83302327796.

Sorry to keep you waiting, but I want this to be right so cam timing doesn't get messed up.

This is really for cam timing as positioning the cams for the clearance check can be done without a TDC pin 83302327790, Cam Chain Tensioner and Sleeve 83300444292/83302339885 and Cam Alignment Jig 83302327796.

In Part 5/6 of the YouTube Service Series, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bZJC0Dfb80, at the 10:45 mark, I show how to do the valve clearance check without the above listed OEM BMW tools.

I hope to have the YouTube video with the DIY Tool and alternate method out by the end of the week.

Great info and certainly saving me some time, I will be waiting on next video, also I need another 17000 kms before I start............;)

Well just for info, the price of this part 83300444292 TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEM seems to have gone through the roof, maybe something has changed in the build.............:rob average price now is between 150 euro and 198 euro depending on where you get it from and obviously having it available to deliver, as some have quoted low prices but have no stock.

Bugger last part missing, was supposed to have arrived. 83 30 2 327 790

BMW has canceled the last delivery date. Now they should arrive next week.

I really enjoyed the video by Boxflyer, I found it very informative and useful. Thank you for posting.
