Saved from the hipsters

Nice work Mike. I am truly jealous that you get to do this for a living.

Looking at the finish on a lot of your parts, im assuming you have an on-site aqua blasting setup?

:drool
Got one of these:D

Mike.
You make it all look so easy (which I know its not for most of us !)
Keep it up, as I always enjoy reading your rebuild threads.

Bubb

Mikeyboy, as ever your work looks second to none, and I'm sure many are interested in these antiquated boxer twin things. But can I politely remind you that, your mother once said. 'You can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear'

They're all right these BMW thingy's, but they're not Guzzi's are they.

Ahhh the guzzi,,
Way too busy to go near it at the moment, and no space.
We made a decision to wait till autumn on it.
We were looking at it today over a cuppa, plotting or planning, not sure which:D

Got the carbs cleaned, and rebuilt with new float valves ,o’rings and diaphragms.
New mounting rubbers as well

Halfords do a great aerosol spray paint especially for plastic Mike.. it works a treat.
Just in case you need to hide any of that bright yellow Motobatt.

I have the stock 20 AH Motobatt in my R100GS which has Hi comp Wossner pistons and it spins it over like a sewing machine.
Starter is EME Valeo knock off, EME HD battery leads are fitted too.

Few more jobs yesterday,
Refitted the airbox, with new fuel hoses, new throttle cables, new clutch cable.
Also all the engine electrics are on.
I’ll put these wheels in for now as the originals are being refurbed.
But it means next week it will be in a state that we can move it around
Refitted the exhaust as well
